Stain Erasers® Welcomes Todd Riggs as CEO
Todd has deep operational and financial experience based on 22 years working in both the operating and investing sides of private equity and venture capital. His focus is on identifying and implementing operational value creation initiatives at established companies and startups to support growth and profitability, as well as working with investment teams to underwrite potential investments and add-ons. On several occasions Todd has taken interim or extended leadership roles at portfolio companies, including COO and CFO of Sellars Absorbent Materials (~$120MM manufacturer and marketer of industrial wiper and shop towel manufacturer), VP of Supply Chain for Compass Healthcare Brands (~$200MM distributor of branded home medical equipment), and COO of US Green Fiber (~$100MM manufacturer of cellulose insulation for commercial and residential markets). Todd has worked with several private equity firms including Tenex Capital Management, Source Capital, Symmetry Growth Capital, and others. Todd began his career at GE in the Manufacturing Management Program before joining the Corporate Audit Staff where he executed financial and operations improvement projects globally and received his Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Todd earned an MBA with honors from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he received the Shermet Award (top 5% of the class). He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a four-year letterman in Varsity Football. Todd lives in Florida’s Space Coast with his wife Jennifer and an array of pets, plus intermittent visits from his son Jack (rising Junior at the University of the South in Sewanee TN) and daughter Ellie (rising sophomore at University of Florida’s Honors Program).
